CEREC Post-op Instructions

What to expect after you receive your new CEREC restoration...

After your CEREC restoration has been placed, your bite should feel even and it should not hurt to chew. If you feel that the new restoration is high, return to the office right away. This will not heal on its own, and the tooth will become increasingly sensitive. A quick adjustment will correct this easily.

Soreness around the gum tissue and the site of anesthetic placement is common and will subside within a few days.

Cold sensitivity may persist for several days or even weeks. This will subside as the tooth "heals" internally.

Our office number is (808) 737-6229. Please call us if you have increased pain to temperature, especially hot.
